Ya el otoño esta aquí y aunque el cambio en la Florida no se siente tanto sin duda para nosotros ha sido un mega cambio de Miami a St. Augustine. Adiós humedad, adiós calor insoportable... el clima en St. Augustine es un perfecto 26 y ya es momento de guardar todos nuestros looks veraniegos y disfrutar de la nueva temporada.
Cuando vivía en Buenos Aires me costaba mucho dejar mi armario de verano, viviendo en Venezuela y tener una sola estación todo el año, nos enseñaron a usar el mismo closet durante todos los 12 meses porque nunca sentíamos la diferencia. Ahora, he aprendido a amar cada estación, amar cada cambio y aprovecharlo para hacer una renovación. La renovación implica tener buena energía para recibir lo nuevo. Y como dice la mama de mi amiga Kim: "si no sacamos lo viejo, no tenemos espacio para lo nuevo"

The autumn is here and certainly is not the same for people in Florida but being in St. Augustine we can finally say adios to the Miami heat and humidity! The weather in St. Augustine is just perfect and it is time to put away all our summer looks and enjoy the new season.
When I lived in Buenos Aires I had trouble leaving behind my summer wardrobe, living in Venezuela and having one station, we used the same closet all 12 months of the year. But now, I have learned to love each station, loving every change and use it to make a renewal. The renovation involves having good energy for the new. As the mom of my friend Kim says: "if we don´t get rid of the old, we have no room for the new."
EL OTOÑO
Personalmente es mi estación favorita, la amo, amo todo de ella, los colores, el naraja, los tonos marrones, los atardeceres, las hojas caer, es un sentimiento de que la naturaleza se está limpeando a ella misma para volver a florecer. Estoy demasiado emocionada de poder vivir esta época en un pueblo estadounidense porque vienen fechas super lindas como Halloween y los Holidays.

THE AUTUMN
Personally my favorite season, I just love it, I love all of it, the colors, the sunsets, leaves falling... the feeling is like the nature is healing itself. I'm too excited to live this season in an american town and enjoy everything like true americans do!
FALL SEASON
El cambio de color es lo mas sabio que podemos hacer al cambiar nuestro armario, guardar los colores vibrantes y sacar colores sobrios: negros, grises, burgundy, verdes olivos y militares, blancos, ocres, vinos, naranjas, azules marinos... jugar con todos ellos y tambien las telas. Yo al estar en la Florida sigo utilizando telas frescas pero sacar piezas tejidas y de hilo es una excelente idea. Es muy importante jugar con los largos, esta temporada se vienen los largos MIDI que son justo arriba de la rodilla, esto le da un toque elegante y chic. A mi personalmente me encanta! Ya tengo varias piezas de este estilo y estoy emocionada de usarlas!

FALL SEASON
Change the colors is the wisest thing we can do to make a difference in our wardrobe, save the vibrant colors and make place for darkest ones: black, gray, burgundy, olive green, white, wine, orange, navy blue... play with all of them and also play with the fabrics. Use MIDI -just above the knee, this will make you look elegant and chic. I personally love it!
La tendencia 'off the shoulder' ha sido la mas vista todo este 2016. Yo LA AMO y tengo un montón de piezas. Va con mi estilo Boho, es súper comodo y fovorecedor. Para adaptarlo a la nueva estación solo hay que llevarlo en tonos mas oscuros y sobrios, escoger telas pesadas y largos midis o asimétricos. Si tienes algún top de verano que sigas amando llevalo con jeans oscuros o ponle unas medias y botines! No tienes que olvidarte de tu tendencia favorita solo porque cambio la temporada.

OFF THE SHOULDER
The trend 'off the shoulder' has been the most-watched all this 2016. I love it and I have a lot of pieces. It goes perfect with my Boho style, it is super comfortable and flattering. To adapt it to the new season pick darker tones. If you have any summer top that you love, wear it with darker jeans or wear it with stockings and boots! You don't have to forget about your favorite trend because the season changed.
ACCESORIOS 'STATEMENT'
Una prenda 'statement' es justo lo que se necesita para llegar a la nueva temporada y romperla! Ya sea una falda larga, unos botines de gamusa, unas botas 'over the knee' por encima de la rodilla, algo de tercipelo -se viene el terciopelo'- o alguna cartera increíble.
